The final PICL Adventure ride of the year at the serene setting of Raystown Lake in Central PA. Get yourself ready for a weekend of fun with your fellow GVMTB riders and coaches to enjoy the great outdoors whether you are camping, hanging out by the fire, hiking the beautiful grounds or shredding up the wonderfully maintained MTB trails, this is not an event you want to miss! There will be 1 longer adventure ride planned with the whole team on Saturday and other rides will be coordinated amongst the team based upon demand and how good are legs feel!

Pre-Ride Arrival and Ride Time:
You definitely want to pre-ride the course so you are not surprised by what you encounter. Pre-riding is a critical aspect of racing and planning your strategy for the day.
Coaches will communicate about exact pre-ride roll out times the day of the race. Coaches should be available to give all riders a pre-ride but we try to ride as a group. Be sure to let us know when you are arriving!
Middle School pre-ride is Saturday morning from 8am - 9:30am. THERE IS NO FRIDAY PRE-RIDE.
High School pre-ride is Saturday from 2:30pm - 4pm and Sunday from 8am -8:30am.
Race Arrival and Ride Time:
Middle School races Saturday. High School races Sunday.
Please see the PICL event link above for exact staging times. You can find your riders race category in Pitzone.
Since this race is farther away and a lot of the team will be staying at local lodging, the team will be planning some post-race dining events within Williamsport. Please check the TeamSnap Team chat for details or to make suggestions.
It’s a long drive, so we recommend securing lodging for at least the night before your race to ensure your rider is well rested, fed, and gets the opportunity to pre-ride the race course. See the PICL event page for their recommendations or reach out on TeamSnap to see where others are staying. You are welcome to stay wherever you please, but here are some suitable options used by GVMTB in the past:
